Welcome to Yoruba
House.
Yoruba House is a cultural
and spiritual oasis for
everyone interested in drum, dance and
sacred ritual. Dedicated to healing, through
ongoing community rituals
and classes,
Yoruba House is co-directed by
Ayo Adeyemi, Ifa Priest
and Yoruba Master
Drummer, and his wife, Apetebi,
Carole Zeitlin Adeyemi,
metaphysical practitioner of many years. While
Yoruba House honors all
Pathways to the
Truth, Ifa, the ancient Yoruba metaphysical
understanding of life, is the major source
of the music, dance and ritual
practiced here.
Presently
Yoruba House is teaching several Classes
in Drumming. Dance and Drum making are also
offered.
Classes
are being taught at 2567 Westwood Blvd and Motherland Music..
As an
Ifa Priest, Baba
Ayo works with individuals
who seek divinations and
further knowledge of Ifa.
Please call the voice number
for a private appointment.
The Yoruba
House Ensemble,
a highly spirited performance group,
can be seen and heard at
special events throughout the
year at schools, festivals, museums,
and celebrations of all kinds.
